1. What personal data I collect and process
The personal information I collect and process about you, in connection with your relationship with me as a customer or potential customer, includes:
Your name, e-mail address, telephone number and invoicing details
The communications you exchange with me via e-mail, letter and social media
Documents you may send me for translation, which may or may not contain personal data
The contact details of the company that you represent, such as your company’s website, postal address and banking details for invoicing
2. Where I obtain the data from
The data I collect about you may be obtained from your website, other third-party websites such as professional membership organisations you may be a member of, your social media, and your direct communications with me.
3. How I use and process the data
I collect information about you to process your enquiries or orders, and to deliver any services to you in relation to your translation needs.
From time to time, I may also contact you for marketing purposes, to offer you services I think may be of interest to you. This may be through e-mail, post, social media or phone.
You will have the choice to opt in or opt out of receiving my marketing communications by indicating your choice. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please use the unsubscribe link in the marketing communication from me, if there is one, or e-mail me at dora@rootstemtranslations.com.
I use tracking software to monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help me develop the design of my website. However, this software does not enable me to capture any personal information.
I will not share your information for marketing purposes with any third party unless you specifically give me permission to do so, or under legal obligation.
4. How I store the data and for how long
The personal data I keep about you is held either electronically or in physical archives, or both.
All electronic and physical data files containing personal information are stored securely, in password-protected devices or securely locked cabinets.
I will not retain your data for longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose it is being processed for.
When I no longer need your personal data, I will securely delete or destroy it.
5. Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that I hold about you, request correction of any inaccurate data I may hold about you and request the erasure of your personal information. To do so, please e-mail me at dora@rootstemtranslations.com.
